ABOUT
The Libi Project is a mission-driven creative studio dedicated to uplifting culinary entrepreneurs and building stronger connections in the food and beverage industry.
At the heart of The Libi Project is Culinary Industry Nights, an event series designed to bring together early-stage culinary entrepreneurs, food & beverage professionals, farmers, and producers in a more intentional way.
Seeing the absence of design collaterals in their production, I saw an opportunity to offer support to The Libi Project as designer and illustrator for 2 of their events ‘Culinary Industry Night’ and ‘Culinary Creative Collective’ meetup.

CULINARY INDUSTRY NIGHT
With the roster this time featuring more farmers and spices than previous events, my inspo came straight from the winter produces and flavors reflected on each producer’s portfolio. The main visual is a still life of diverse winter fruits, vegetables, and flowers — coming together as one. Representing the collaborative spirit and aesthetics of what the Culinary Industry Nights are supposed to invoke.
To achieve consistency with The Libi Project branding, I utilized their pastel color palette and soft type faces. My collaterals added a finer touch to the event, from details such as proportioned signages to better guide our guests throughout the evening to including a menu to the grazing table to feature local producers as well as informing guests of the ingredient list.

CULINARY CREATIVE COLLECTIVE
New York City’s diversity and talent are what we believe make its food scene so interesting. With influences from every culture, it’s a place where food and the creative world naturally intersect. Chefs, food artists, photographers, writers, florists, stylists, producers, designers, illustrators, mixologists, & more all draw from this vibrant mix to craft flavors, visuals, and experiences that are unique to this city
There was also a need for designed collateral for marketing and event planning purposes, which is where I stepped in. This initiates reminded me of how a small pebble can cause a lake to ripple. It only takes one idea to disrupt, and for that idea to spread to like-minded individuals and form communities who share the same core value. Overlapping circles also feels like we’re protecting each other :)
